Indian students will fill 1500 matriculation seats for 2013/2014 intake, up by 1000 as promised. Our commitment that no one is left behind.
Here again the serial liar is attempting to hoodwink the Indians again.Last year in a 'Ponggal' festival in Klang, Najib promosed 1500 matriculation seats for the Indian students however the BTN brainwashed racist official in the Education department provided only 700 seats,leaving 800 seats vacant,when enquiries was made,the official said that there was no directive from the PM's department to offer 1500 seats to deserving Indian students.
Yesterday an article in a Tamil daily had alleged that the Education ministry had allocated only 500 places for Indians in its matriculation centres for the 2013/2014 intake,but MIC deputy president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam has reiterated that a total of 1,500 matriculation seats would be filled by Indian Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students, quashing claims that the government did not fulfill its promise on the matter.
The MIC(Manam Illatha Congress) was not even able to fight for the 800 seats left vacant, for the 2013/2013 intake and Najib/MIC are using education as an election bargaining tool this time around to cheat the Indian people/students,again.It is a disgrace for MIC to defend the Umno/BN government as having fulfilled its promise when 800 seats were denied to desreving Indian students.
