‘Najib will cling to power until overthrown’

A caretaker of the government is not a 'caretaker government' and as such the Najib-regime cannot 're-appoint' themselves to the seat.
In a democratic system, people’s power is the ultimate political power in the country. And this is exercised through the general election.
However when the ‘people’s power’ is hijacked during an election and a government is elected through undemocratic and unlawful means or if a government is practising bad governance and abuses its power, then it is deemed necessary for the rise of people power in the open to correct all these abuses.
The duty of Bersih being a non-political association of NGOs, is to demand for the return of the people’s democratic rights through electoral and political reforms before the general election, failing which it will rally for the people’s power to pressure the incumbent government to step down voluntarily or through force.
Under threats from the people’s power, there are four options for the Najib regime:
i) Direct the Election Commission (EC) to cleanse and overhaul the grossly fraudulent electrol roll
ii) Najib Tun Razak takes responsibility and resigns as the Prime Minister
iii) The whole cabinet takes responsibility and resigns en bloc and a new government appointed before the 13th general election (GE) to direct the EC to do the cleansing of the grossly tainted electoral roll
iv) Proceeds to dissolve parliament and calls for GE without executing the electoral reforms first as demanded
There were many past leaders and regimes in many countries, who refused to back down to the wishes of the people’s power and who were eventually overthrown. Many were ousted in violent ways by their own people.
We hope the Najib regime will not repeat the same mistakes committed by his peers.
Najib in cohorts with EC
However Najib, like a true despotic leader, will cling to power until he is overthrown.
So, he is most likely to choose to dissolve the parliament to pave the way for the 13 GE.
However before he agrees to dissolve the parliament he conspires with the EC to manipulate the electoral roll to his advantage.
The Najib regime and the EC work hand-in-glove to rig the electoral rolls by giving foreigners fake identity cards and creating phantom postal voters.
Both of these involve hundreds of thousands of voters to shore up support for Umno in the 13 GE.
Also the EC will delete the names of voters from the opposition strongholds without their consent and permission, and plans to cheat during the process of vote counting later.
The EC officers and election workers are in fact Umno (in peninsular Malaysia and Sabah) and PBB (Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu) people (in Sarawak).
The moment Najib announces the dissolution of the parliament with the grossly fraudulent electoral roll intact, his government no longer exists.
The authority that exists during that period is only the ‘caretaker of the government’ and not the caretaker government.
Hence the former government cannot appoint itself automatically to be the caretaker of the government.
Agung, the right authority
Under Article 39 of the federal constitution, the executive authority of the federation shall be vested in the Yang DiPertuan Agong.
Therefore the right authority to appoint a caretaker of the government is the King.
The Agung may appoint whoever among the members of parliament to become members of the caretaker body.
Bersih can then launch the Bersih 4.0 mammoth rallies which by then will achieve the status of a full fledged people’s power with a magnitude of 9.0 on the people power scale.
The people power led by Bersih can march to the Istana to call for the Agong to delay, to stop the election, and to appoint the Pakatan Rakyat MPs as the caretaker of the government in order to enable the latter to clean up the electoral roll first before the GE can be held.
Hence the Pakatan Rakyat MPs would request for some time to do the cleansing job which is to postpone the election date within the legal time frame according to the election law.

Justice on the Internet has to be the other way around

Malaysia has decided the best way to stop cyber bullies is to turn the justice system on its head.
Instead of making the victims prove who were their attackers, they just have to make an allegation and the accused has to prove it was not them.
Apparently cops are fed up with the defence that it was not them when a hate or threatening message is traced to their Facebook or Twitter or any other Internet account.
According to the Starthe Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission says it is almost legally impossible to take action if all that a person has to do is to deny any responsibility.
Commission chairman Datuk Mohamed Sharil Mohamed Tarmizi said cyber bullies and stalkers who often use "the cloak of anonymity" have got away because of lack of evidence.
He has just made an interview on the amendment to the Evidence Act passed by the Dewan Rakyat which pushes the burden of proof to the accused.
He said that owners of Internet accounts where hate messages had originated could easily rebut charges against them if they were innocent.
Witnesses that can prove you were nowhere near your computer or any other communicating device at the time the message was sent out, you can get off, Sharil said.
But a flat denial from the accused cannot work anymore, he said.
Under the law, if a person's name, photograph or pseudonym appears on any publication depicting themselves as the author, the are deemed to have published it.
If a posting comes from an Internet or phone account, the owner is deemed to be the publisher unless the contrary is proved.
Sharil said the authorities would still have to carry out rigorous and thorough investigations before charging anyone.
A minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, said it was difficult to prosecute offenders before the amendment to the Act.

Indians in Malaysia will be neglected from the mainstream education and development of the country.

By Kalpana Devi
The new economic policy was launched by Malaysian Government after the aftermath of racial unrest in 1969. The main goal of NEP is to create national unity through eradication of poverty and restructuring Malaysian economy and society by eliminating the identification of race with economic function. Government implemented many affirmative actions (AA) to close the gap between Bumiputra and the more affluent ethnic in Malaysia, Chinese.
Education
Education was one of the major strategies or AA to achieve the above objectives by enlarging access to all levels of education for those disadvantaged groups especially Bumiputra students who were at that time left far behind compared to other ethnic groups. In early years after independence the number of Chinese students in University Malaya, the only public university then was more than other ethnic groups. However, the number of Bumiputra students in UM increased in early 1960s, almost a decade before the pronouncement of NEP, and the number accelerated once NEP implemented in early 1970s. However during the earlier years (after NEP) the ratio of Bumiputra and Non-Bumiputra was 55:45…but the ratio transformed drastically after 1990.
Provided below is the statistic of students in public universities for the past 50 years.
Percentage of students Enrolment in Public Universities in Malaysia

200067.226.35.01.5100
20107512.62.59.5100
(Derived from Various Reports and Malaysia Plans)
Many will doubt the numbers given above, but that is the reality. Currently we have 20 public universities including University Teknologi MARA (UiTM) which is only for Bumiputra; the enrolmen in UiTM for year 2006 was 94,931 and the total enrolment in 18 public universities (in 2006) was 331,025, therefore percentage of students in UiTM itself in year 2006 was 28.6% and if we include all other 17 universities, the number Bumiputra in Public Institutions would have reached almost 68 or 69% for that particular year. As a result, the percentage of Indian students in public institutions has diminished drastically over the last 30 years.
In 2010 Indians in public universities constitutes only 2.5% and even the “others” are more than Indians in the public universities at the moment. If this trend continues we will be the minorities among the minorities in the next 20 years in the Malaysian public universities. There is an argument that there are more Indian students in private colleges. Yes there is a big group of Malaysian Indian students who are pursuing tertiary education in private colleges.
This scenario happened after mid 1990s after the liberalisation of education in Malaysia. The enrolment of students in private higher learning institution was further boosted by the introduction of PTPTN – not sure whether it is a boon or bane for the community. There are significant differences between public and private education in Malaysia.
  1. The fee in private institutions are very much higher than public institutions, therefore the graduates will become heavy debtors upon completing their courses
  2. The employers especially the Government prefer students from public institutions due to the standard of education and qualification in public institutions
  3. Some courses offered by private institution are “seasonal”, therefore many graduates are left unemployed after certain period of time due to lack of opportunities or too many graduates in that particular field (supply surplus)…like nursing at the moment
  4. The facilities in public institution are far more superior than private institutions
Therefore it is not fair to compare public and private institutions in Malaysia.
Intake of students into Critical or High End Courses in Public Universities in year 2011
The intake of Indian students into the critical courses in public universities was at a respectable or proportionately justifiable level before year 2000 but now we are left far behind compared to other races. Let us see the intake of students into critical courses for 2011/12 academic year in public universities in Malaysia.

(Borneo Post, July 11, 2011)
The number of Indian students in critical courses at public universities is dwindling to a level whereas we will be grouped with others in near future. If this trend continues, the number of professionals among Indians will be at a deplorable level in the next ten years. I must stress here that, we are looking at the intake of public universities in Malaysia, which are considered as the most prestigious universities in this country, therefore there are only two reasons for this situation:-
  1. Indian students do not meet the minimum required points to pursue the high end courses
  2. Indians students are denied the opportunity to pursue high end courses
Both reasons are related, Indian students are denied to pursue high end courses because many of them failed to obtain minimum required points to pursue the courses mentioned above. WHY?
The reason is clear, the difference between STPM and Matriculation….the Pre University education in Malaysia.
Look at the figures below as reported by the Director General of Ministry of Higher Education last year.
3,108 students Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 4.0 had already been placed in Public Universities last year. All of them would definitely been placed in high end courses. In 2011, only 343 students who took STPM in 2010 managed to achieve CGPA 4.0, where the rest 2,765 from – either matriculation or the foundation are studies at the respective universities. Therefore it is definitely illogical to mention that STPM and Matriculation are equal. It is a demoralising situation – we can’t expect that all top scorers will get opportunity to pursue critical courses in public universities because they are not competing on a level playing field.
Let us revisit NEP, the objective was to bridge the disparity among the different ethnic groups in Malaysia to ensure social justice…but what is happening at the moment…the disparity between Indians (the 3rd biggest ethnic in Malaysia) and other ethnics is widening and it is not socially justifiable situation especially in education. (see the table above)
The Opportunity to Pursue Matriculation
The recent announcement by our Prime Minister, that additional 1000 places will be given to top indian students in addition to 559 places which was already provided earlier, is a commendable move for the educational development of Indian community. It will definitely help the top students to compete fairly with others. No doubt that these students can achieve good points, which will help them to pursue high end courses in public institutions. The authority must ensure that this initiative is implemented effectively.
There is a need for total transformation in Higher Education for Malaysian Indians. The current trend is worrisome and if it continues the Indians in Malaysia will be neglected from the mainstream education and development of the country. We must ensure that the future generation attain the education that they deserve; otherwise they will become the socially and economically discriminated society in this country.

A gathering of the National Organisation of Uncouth Morons —

With the 13th General Elections a day closer with each sunrise, Malaysians are served with a nauseating fare of daily news by major electronic and print media agencies.
It seems that these days, Malaysian lives revolve around that annual gathering of rabid humans in Putra World Trade Centre whose antics would put even simians to shame.
It’s a place where foul language is cheered upon. A place where religious bashing is commonplace. A place where pots and kettles gather to call others black.
It’s a place where one race reigns supreme, not unlike Hitler’s mantra. A place where seeds of hatred are sown, nurtured and watered. A place that reeks of corruption and hypocrisy.
A place where a backdoor minister is angry over dubious goings-on at her hubby’s business venture. A place where warlords of all sorts and sizes gather hoping to find perhaps a scrap in the form of electoral candidacy or senatorships or even cow-rearing projects! Talk about milking moo-lah till the cows come home ...
It’s a place where the gathered are led by a deputy prime minister who is a Malaysian last. A place where a deputy minister accuses a political party of being agents of Christianisation.
A place where the president-cum-PM is a two-faced chameleon in human guise. A PM who espouses a global movement of moderates yet remains silent in suppressing rabid extremism amongst his party comrades.
It is also a place where the average Malaysian see the normally loud, obnoxious, opiniated leaders of the minor parties in the coalition sitting impassively, almost disinterested at the charged up proceedings.
It’s interesting to note the “Mr Nice Guy” and “Mr Cheated on My Wife and Got Caught With Pants Off” presidents of two components parties keeping their zip (not pants) shut despite the obvious racial and religious bigotry on show. If they should ever contemplate an alternative career, I’m sure co-authoring “An Idiot’s Guide to Being A Yes Man” would set them up for life.
Umno is not at a political crossroads. It’s facing execution and with it annihilation in the next GE. What the leaders are trying to do lately is akin to trying to gain a last-second reprieve from the powers-to-be for them to live, to fight another day.
I happened to catch the animated movie “A Bug’s Life” recently. For the uninitiated, it revolves around an ant named Flik who tries hard to fight off a bunch of grasshoppers.
Now these grasshoppers, they’re bullies. They take what they want from the ants without regard, not unlike a government that steals from its people to line its own pocket.
Now, as with most movies, it had a happy ending. Flik makes the colony realise that despite their smaller size, they have the numbers. Needless to say, the grasshoppers get their comeuppance with their leader getting a good blast up the backside.
The people, citizens of Malaysia, must realise that the power is in their hands. You and me, we decide who leads the country and in which direction it is to be led towards.
The time for reckoning is close at hand. The time has come for Malaysians to say enough is enough. It is time to show them political simians that we are the arbiters of our nation’s destiny.
Until then, I’m just going to ignore the gathering of the deluded cult comforted in the knowledge that the end is near.
Taken with a liberal dose of cynicism, it does make for a good laugh or two on a rainy, gloomy day, the antics of these idiots ...

WHICH COUNTRY, BOLEH ?

Never in the history of any country has a government been as hypocritical, deceptive, dishonest and destructive as this government in question.

Which country has had only one political party in government for more than half a century?

Which country allows the government to use public funds for political purposes?

Which country uses the police to beat up peaceful protestors and corner them when they have already dispersed?

Which country has a prime minister linked to murder?

Which country gives money to ministers so they get very rich while the poor suffer?

Which country punishes honest former top custom and police officers who whistleblow?

Which country allows its government to rob the poor and fill the pockets of the rich by unreasonable road tolls?

Which country bails out cronies in business with public money into billions of ringgit?

Which country forces religion down people's throats while the political leaders live in sin?

Which country has an anti-corruption agency accused of murder?

Which country has a police system that sees so many Indian youths die in police lock-ups?

Which country has former soldiers take part in politics and act like thugs against a clean and honest lady?

Which country has a ‘First Lady' spend the people's money when the country does not even have a president?

Which country builds a costly palace when many people do not have proper housing, water and electricity?

Which country denies the Opposition time to speak freely yet claims to be the world's best democracy?

Which country allows the police to beat its journalists doing their jobs without mercy?

Which country forces its young into national youth programmes and see many die in freak accidents?

Which country has its prime minister say something and the DPM disagrees. Remember 1Malaysia and "Aku Melayu".

Which country has a prime minister who runs away while important things happen in his country?

Which country allows dirty videos and other slanderous material to be published against others freely?

Which country has conspired against its Opposition leader in a sex scandal that we know is a conspiracy?

Which country has a retired prime minister who can't keep his mouth shut and creates disharmony?

Which country has someone like former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad whose word cannot be trusted - who has said he has retired from politics but is still bleating?

Which country has a royal commission expose corruption in the police force but nothing is done to correct the shortcomings?

Which country has a royal commission to expose judge fixing and it was found done yet still no one is charged?

Which country has the NEP but sees many Malays denied opportunities because they belong to the wrong political party?

Which country sees the non-Malays deprived while the corrupt take the lion's share of their prosperity?

Which country makes a car and sells it at a higher price in the country but charges less for it in other countries?

Which country has seen so many abuses of power yet can still stay in power because of electoral irregularities?

Which country has punished its honest citizens for calling for democracy and clean and fair elections?

Which country controls all the country's government and mainstream media and spreads propaganda?

Which country punishes media producers who merely want to promote a free country, what's wrong with that?

Which country spends money on 1Malaysia but acts like they want disharmony?

Which country allows a politician like that white snake in Sarawak to be filthy rich and rob the natives of their lands and trees?

Which country allows a politician to spend public money to promote himself overseas?

Which country has been censured by the BBC for censoring their news we see?

Which country has a government like Malaysia that has destroyed the people's harmony by allowing racists to disrupt society?

Which country but Malaysia!

Many Malaysians and I have had enough.

I can go on and on forever but I don't want the Umno-Barisan political coalition to go on governing my country into oblivion while their sons and daughters party and drive around in Lamborghini and Ferrari cars and drive me and the nation into poverty.

The Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and Mahathir are masters of hypocrisy and their deeds expose their forked-tongues, because they say one thing and do something else, and they are able to trick the blind and impressionable who they know how to keep in check with money and illiteracy but not with intelligence, whether they are Malays, Indian, Chinese, Sarawakian or Sabahan.

What happened to Anwar Ibrahim and Teoh Beng Hock and Kugan and many innocent Malaysians can happen to anybody when you have morally depraved politicians in power.

Whatever your place in the country, whatever your race, whatever your religion, your enemy is the one who is turning your country into a disaster zone and the sooner you vote those crooks out of power the sooner you can save your nation and get something better.

No one can do worse than what has been done to Malaysia.

Only those who are on the BN's political payroll or get the kickbacks will disagree when there is the mounting evidence of corruption and abuses of power. The Umno-MCA-MIC and their Sarawak and Sarawak cronies have sold out their people and traded their interests for their own selfish power and positions.

I am not a member of the Opposition just a citizen sick of the situation and only a fool will want the same government that makes me so ashamed to say I am Malaysian.

I will vote for change of government for the sake of the nation.

Total loss of respect for an incompetent and biased PM

The soon to be powerless leaders are scrambling to seek divine help from historical books like The Art Of War - Sun Tzu and The Three Kingdoms. In fact most political leaders have all along been secretly reading these books, never mind if they were written by foreigners, as long as they can apply the methods to win and stay in power.

War is never a good thing, people get killed, properties destroyed and the ramifications caused will be tremendous, yet these leaders have no qualms about going to war.
We have to go to war, without choice, should there be an invasion on our soil from outsiders. But there must be something seriously wrong with our leaders should they permit a war to start within the nation, with its own citizens killing each other.
One sided - govt against the people!
Thank God the internal war in this country has not started due to tolerant right-minded Malaysians, albeit a one-sided one caused by gangsters and hooligans with speculation that they are state sponsored. These speculations may turn out to be true after all, judging from the leaders' non-action and silence as compared to the fast and furious action taken against Bersih 3.0
The Prime Minister has the right to condemn Bersih 3.0 all he wants even though investigation is ongoing on the exact cause of chaos but his silence on the continued gangsterism and hooliganism targeted at mostly opposition functions, NGOs forums, individual like Ambiga is truly worrying. "Qui tacet consentit" (silence implies consent)
A Prime Minister who screams and shouts that he is the PM for all Malaysians, and that Malaysia has the best democracy in the world, but is now suing Malaysian citizens for causing damage to public property due to the large Bersih 3.0 crowds at the April 28 rally just doesn't ring true. And he is doing all this even though the investigation has yet to conclude as to who the real culprits were at the Bersih rally.
When you hold power you are already acknowledged to be tough but why does Najib feel the need to act 'extra tougher' against the innocent rakyat or people by claiming without a shred of evidence that the Bersih 3.0 rally-goers were there to overthrow the government. You completely lose your dignity and respect by insulting the 200,000 Malaysians attending the rally.
Meanwhile, the fast and furious action taken against any group or individual who dares to criticize the government, while closing an eye on the criminal act of gangsterism and hooliganism against the Bersih organizers have hit on the nerves of Malaysians across the nation. And I for one have totally lost respect for a PM who is incapable of running the nation in a non-partisan way.
War can backfire
Has he forgotten he is PM of a nation and not just head of his party when performing his governmental duties?
The Bar Council was chastised and accused of being partisan when it passed a resolution that did not bode well with the ruling regime because it said the regime should not only apologize but also pay compensation to those injured or wrongly detained.
So, Mr Prime Minister, are you truly non partisan when you said that you are the PM for all Malaysians? Or is the 'all Malaysian' only meant for those who praise you including the gangsters and hooligans that go on rampage against those who criticize the government?
Studying The Art of War can help you win and stay in power but any wrong move can also backfire or bring destruction and chaos.
Peace is what people want in their short span of life on this earth and if you can fight a political war through peaceful means, you can be the winner anytime.
